Subject: Ambo's are great

Yesterday I changed the fork oil, installed a new
throttle cable, lubed the cables, put in new spark
plugs, and adjusted the steering-head bearings on my
Ambo. Today I'm putting some miles on it. What a
pleasant bike!! This old thing rides as good as the
new machines, in my opinion (except the brakes, of
course). Not as fast as the newer middle-weights, but
just as torqey, handles well, and sounds nice, too. I
can't see why Guzzi isn't a bigger presence in the
motorcycle world (mismanagement, I presume).
