Steve, the guy you are speaking of is named Bill I think. I recently had MG
classics redo my eldo with a 90 model square head motor with elect ignition,
pumper delorto's and several other non stock updates and I love it. Out of 30
bikes I've owned, most of which were twins, this one is by far the best. I had
built another eldo but didn't like the heavy flywheel effect and several other
things about that motor. Back to Bill, I think he had Mark stretch the frame for
the 1100cc motor and tranny. Bet that's a sweet ride. I've got about 10,000 in
mine so I think the 3000 figure is not realistic. Tom

Didn't a guy commission MG classics to build a modern version of an Eldo
based on the 1100 CC platform? If they saved the specs and drawings it seems
that this would be an easy way to get started.
