Well fellow guzzist,
I think I finally resolved the poping issue. I swapped main jets =
which had no effect. I started playing around with the timing, and let =
the bike get really hot, I noticed that advancing and retarding was =
causing the poping to swap from one carb to the other, I finally found a =
happy medium and then adjusted the carbs a little bit, in the end I got =
a good idle no poping, and it revs well, I didn't road check it yet. =20
Now I have another problem, I am getting a lot of oil coming from the =
crank case pressure contraption at the top, I am not sure that is coming =
through as much as seeping around the rubber connection tubes. Other =
than attempting to stop the leak by replacing the tubes what can I do, =
is it possable the presure reliefe valve is clogged and need replacing?
Ian reminded me the beer is on me when we meet :-) thanks for the =
help. =20

Thanks,
Rick
