Rick,

Good to hear that you are sorting things out. I'll be interested in =
hearing how the run goes. By the way...what type plugs were in there =
originally? I wouldn't hesitate to return the plugs that were causing =
the popping and get a new set. I don't think there is any reason why you =
can't go with what is recommended in the manual.

Up here in the snow infested north our groundhog(s) predicted an early =
spring. I think yours predicted 6 more weeks of winter. I'll take our =
predictions over yours....but with all this snow I find it hard to =
believe we will ever see winter again.

You are so lucky that you can get out for a ride. I can hardly wait to =
start my bikes for the first time this spring. There's something about =
hearing that sound for the first time. I was at the Montreal auto show =
today and I saw the new Indian motorcycle. Not a bad looking machine but =
all things being equal ($$ wise) I wouldn't trade the Ambo. No way! =
However I would have traded it for was a Bugatti car they had on =
display. Value? $5million USD. Beautiful car.

OK....Let us know how the run went.....Ian

Well Ian,
The new plugs I put in were the NGK BP6ES that fouled out. I now =
have the ones back in it that were in it when I drug the bike out of =
storage, no poping running like it should. I ordered a speedo cable and =
oil pan gasket from MG and asked them about the pressure as well, bottom =
line is it is normal because the down stroke moves as much air inside as =
in the combustion chamber. Hope I explained that understandably. Any =
how I am going to proced to register the bike and give her a good 20 or =
30 mile test run with a friend who just bought a 78 Gold Wing LTD. That =
should let me know for sure how the bike is running eh.

See Ya,
Rick
