This is a tough day for me, personally, but I know others are just a =
numb as I am, and I feel for them too. I'm thinking of Larry (his son =
and riding partner) especially right now. I know he is hurting =
bad...they were as close as a father and son could be.=20
John was a wonderful husband (Rose, his wife of many years passed on =
recently as well) a great and loving father, and the best friend anyone =
could hope to have. John's Guzzi friendships don't end at the US border, =
for he was truly loved by the world wide fraternity of Guzzi riders and =
owners. Saying he will be missed is a huge under statement...saying his =
loss changes everything is closer to the truth.=20
I'll miss my dear friend, but I know that he felt loved. I'm so glad I =
told him just that the last time I saw him, at the Arizona Rally last =
May.=20
I'll talk to Jim Knaup and Tom Short to see if they agree that we can =
title a special award in John's honor, to give out at the next AZ Rally. =
Its not that big of a deal, but its all I can think of at the moment. =
I'm not feeling well.=20
