Hi,

Im still unpacking boxes and I found info from my 98 trip to Mandello Del
Lario. You guys probably already have this info, but here it is on the
offchance it might be useful for some lucky person going to Italy:

When I was in Mandello del Lario, there were 3 shop selling Guzzi products. One
was closed. The two I visited where:

1. Agostini (via Statale, 60)
telephone: 03 41 735 448
Fax: 03 41 735 727

They speak English and ship to North America. More modern outfit. When I was
there, one of the sales people was kind enough to go scavenging in boxes in the
back room for decals . (Those of you whove seen my bike know it is missing
the Eldorado decal and the eagles on the tank ). She found the ones I needed.
I bought a couple other parts there but also at:

2. Motofornitura Valassi (Via Parodi 29)

Telephone: 03 41 731 223
Fax: 03 41 735 394

They dont speak english. (At least didnt when I was there) I can get by with
my very basic Italian, but I had also photocopied the relevant pages of my
parts book ? just showed them what I was looking for and they pulled them out.
The shop still had the old fixtures and you had a sense of a lot of Guzzi
history. A European Guzzi owner told me they had the best prices for parts.
(Hed ridden all the way from northern France). Found the remaining parts I
needed to rebuild my clutch system.

I also bought parts at Pellegrini G. E in Rome ? Via di S. Cosimato 7/10

If anyone wants a street map of Mandello del Lario, I could try scanning the
one I brought back.

Elisabeth
