Hey all-

Went to the Italian Motorcycle Day in Shepardstown, WVA on my trusty '72 Ambassador. My friend was totally pissed because the battery of his 74 Laverda SF was stone dead...Luckally, his friend loaned him his Guzzi Spada while the owner rode his other MG Lemans IV...Beautiful day-great people-met fellow Guzzisti Charles Mullendore in the flesh.

All the great marques were represented-(except Laverda) Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Bennelli, Vespas with sidecars!!! , Lambretta, Ducati, Moto Morini, etc... My old Ambo ran like a top at 85 or better-so said the surprised LeMans and Spada riders I left behind for a while...It put a smile on my face.

Today I was logging tape at my television job when I came upon an explanation of the US Army Hunter UAV, which is powered the officer said, by two 750 Moto Guzzi Motorcycle engines! I've heard rumors of this, but I was amazed to see this. I'll try to put together a little streaming video for posterity...

Take care,
