Means though we're talken right, left etc. The piston connecting rods have
oil splash holes on one side, down towards the crank connecting ends. I am
trying to figure out in which direction they point when installed. I think
my Guzziology books says that they both point to the right. I am wondering
if right is when I'm sitting on the bike or when I'm standing in front,
looking at the bike?

Thanks,
Tim

Usually (ALMOST always) the cylinder furthest from tne power take off
end of the engine is #1. On a Guzzi V twin the it is the right hand
,from seated.
