Hey John,

I'm not sure what you mean about the bracket under the footpeg but don't
have anything like that under my 69 or 70 Ambo.

Do you know if it was an aftermarket weld or from the factory?

I'm curious.....Ian

Subject: footpegs

Now that I've got a couple of days free after the holiday I've decided
to tear apart the '69 Ambo for a frame up resto. One question:
There is a small bracket welded onto and under each footpeg with 2
holes in it. Is this something peculiar to the '69 or is it something
some previous owner did? It's a nice enough job to look stock, I have no
idea what they may be for. Anybody have a clue?
And I'm looking for a set of stainless spokes. Is there a better deal
out there than Buchanan's?
