I know, I know they're unobtainium, but my bearing guy has always come
through so far. I'll be buying the rest so I may as well try.
Did these wheel bearings (22 X 48 X 15.5) or 01/02/4210 ever get a
bearing number like the swingarm (30203) or steering stem (30205), or
are they just too arcane?
I disassembled the hub on the front wheel in preparation to de-lace,
polish and have trued. The bearings looked fine, with the exception of
one dark spot (which I can't feel with my fingernail) on one roller, and
some staining on the inner part of one race, which came off with 0000
steel wool. I'll probably leave as is, but I want to run the #s by the
local bearing house.
