I did a little fiddling to interrupt the flow of oil from my motor and
put a set of mirrors on. After tightening everything I could think of I
put on my helmet and went for a ride. It has been so long since I rode
an Eldo that the sensation was brand new. I sat up above the bike which
felt tall and narrow compared to my Jackal. I checked out the brakes
which were marginal. The front disk has a long way to go before it beds
in. The pads are coming in contact with about a quarter of the disk
surface right now. The clutch is lightswitch-like and caused me to
stall twice but the neutral light is spot on and the bike came back to
life at a touch of the button.

I blasted around a five block radius listening to the Mac mufflers and
the whine of the timing gears. The carbs are not synched but I got a
steady idle by twiddling the stop screws on the carbs. The bike was
quite manageable but I won't be riding it to work for a while yet.

As Loopframe neophyte Chris Mitchell would say:

EX-cellent

Obligatory Scotch content: Someone gave me a bottle of 18 YO McAllen
and now regular Scotch tastes like Diesel fuel to me. Is there any
Scotch that is a reasonable facsimile? I don't care if the Malts are
single, married or in a long term relationship.
