Just had to put the conception date out there. I picked up the guts for
the U1KG, which for those of you that don't know stands for Under $1ooo
Guzzi. YES! I WILL ACOMPLISH THE IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
Tore 1 side down right away just to see what kind of experimenting with
sleeves I would be in store for and LO & BEHOLD! There was chrome still
clinging to the walls of the cylinder like it was hanging on for dear
life, not to fall into the pitts of hell themselves!
WHOA! Lets not get too excited here kiddies, no, no, putting the wagon
in front of the hourse, still have the other side to tear into. BAH!!
can't find my damn 5mm allen.... Son of a Bit...
Ah Well, If the other side looks as good as this one it will make the
future for the U1KG all that much brighter and CLOSER to being on the
road. No matter what I know this will be a long drawn out project,
finding the right parts at the way below average price could take a
weeebit of time. When I can't find a part for the right price, why I'll
just have to make the god forsaken thing or use something eles.
Why do this? yeah, I'm cheap, so what!!! but, mostly I want to do it
cause people have told me it can't be done!
I'd like to thank Darrell for the frame, engine & trans at a good price.
Good guy, let me take his fathers URAL out, shh! don't tell dad! Naw,
his dad was there too, I see where Darrell gets it from. Great guy with
a beautiful collection of M/C's. Next time you see him buy him a beer, I
promise I'll pay you back. Make it a Guiness, for god's sake, DON'T BE
SO CHEAP!

ALL HAIL THE U1KG!
