Subject: Idle question: 73 Eldo

I asked this question before but it was buried in another message and
I'm guessing that's why no one responded.

In neutral, when I pull in the clutch the engine speed drops. Any ideas
on what could be causing this?

I can't see any way that the clutch cable could be affecting the
throttle cable. I can get around this by bumping up the idle but this
just seems bass-ackwards.
