Wow! I take it the Loopframe list is a little more casual than the MGCL and we can be a little looser. BTW I just joined the list and am working on getting a very early Ambassador roadworthy after many years of neglect by my way too busy little brother.

The clamps that hold the handlebars to the triple tree on my Eldo are
drilled and tapped in the center. I looked at some old pictures but I
couldn't find anything that is attached there.

Any ideas on what went there originally?
