I am installing rear crashbars on my Eldo, and am looking for some info.
I have seen pictures of footpeg rubbers mounted directly on the lower
part of the crashbars, which would be an alternative to the triangular
plate you are discussing. My question is this: to make these footpeg
rubbers, do you use the stock passenger footpeg rubbers, cut a hole in
one side, and force them on from the top, or can you get rubbers from
another source (so the passenger pegs are not destroyed)?

at the two holes the rear crashbars attach Is this some cobble?

I did the same thing to fit my Mac mufflers where I wanted them.
