I buy Hazoid AR (abrasion resistant) plastic, about 2 feet by 2 feet and draw
my pattern on it.
Then I cut the rough edges with a table saw, making straight lines only.
Then I
keep cutting the
corners with straight cuts, but increasingly smaller cuts until the outline is
the shape I want.
Then I sand the edges with a belt sander using rough, then finer grits until I
get the edge very smooth.
Then I buff the edges to a high shine with my 10 inch Baldor buffer.

Then I hold the windshield up to the brackets and mark the center hole, or
holes and drill them out
on a drill press. Then I bolt the windshield in place and carefully bend it to
fit and mark the next set
of holes. When I have completed this process until all holes are drilled I
carefully tighten the bolts
allowing the windshield to take it's final shape.

Hazoid AR is about $40- 50.

Gentlemen: Anyone have any thoughts where I can source out a plexi
windsheild
to mount on PD brackets. Are any of the catalog items similer ? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks. Gene N.Y
