Hello all loopframe sufferers.Have a question for the group.Has anyone noticed any vibration&rattling caused by movement of the generator at the cradle casting on the block where the locating dowel is on the generator. My bracket and mounting bolts are in fine shape, belt is proper tension.I noticed this rattle while checking timing with light.I noticed some slight vibration and movement under 3k rpms.Upon removing generator to check mounting bracket bolts i observed a wear pattern on the cradle at the locating dowel.Nothing major but a shiny wear spot and burr as a result of the movement between generator and engine block.I probably could have quieted it down my just tightening the belt a bit but i didnt want to put undue stress on the mount bracket bolts. As a corrective action i made a thin rubber gasket, put it between generator and engine block at the cradle and put the whole shebang back together. What a difference. The bike is much smoother at idle and low rpms, without that low frequency rattling.Seems like a shitty setup, this interface between generator and engine block.Just wondering if any of the much more talented wrenches on this list have noticed this phenomenon and have come up with better corrective measures.Thanks.Scott K
