My first 71 LAPD was rock solid all the way to 95 mph. My current 71 LAPD
wobbled only once shifting from 3rd to 4th at 80-85 mph (passing a car on
the Navajo Res). It wasn't pleasant, but backing off the throttle cured it
immediately. I seldom passed, seen the mess it can make if you make a
mistake.
Both were the same setup, original police windshield and brackets, steering
damper (working or not), LAPD bars, etc.
