very true, you should do that. thing is....i can't believe they don't move round while running. anyone know for sure?

there is a special tool for the job, but many ppl use a section of broken
ring. you probably have that :-)




Havent done it myself yet but I rememeber reading that the ring gap should be staggered around the piston, in other words the ring gaps shoudl not all be at the same point.
