Subject: Clutch Cable Adjustment Question

My manual didn't describe how to adjust the clutch cable on the tranny
side - should the arm off of the trans be at it's full out position, or
should I adjust the cable so it pulls the arm in a bit, and if so, how
much should it pull on this arm?
