sorry, I hit the wrong key,

as I was saying:

I have a 98 EV. I have my 1971 Ambassador which I bought in 1973. I have a
1977
T-3 which I bought in 1998. When I bought my Ambassador I could not afford an
Eldorado, they were $400 more than the Ambassador was. When the T bikes came
out I thought they were the ugliest thing and looked like something copied
from
other manufacturers. When the early 90's Guzzis came out with that hose coming
out of the top of the tank, I wondered what they were thinking when they made
that mistake. When the EV came out and I liked the power, the brakes and hoped
for reliability. The bike starts, runs and does everything great. I like the
ride comfort, I even have the factory seat after 11,000 miles.

But there is nothing like a loop for looking great. I love the loop tank so
much I have an extra and it sits inside my house, on display. The EV tank has
to be the ugliest thing, next to the EV front fender. Why should a tank as big
and bulky as the EV tank only hold a usable 4.8 when the beautiful loop tank
holds over 6 gallons. The only EV tank I really like is Frank Wedge's new
tank. Of course he has it painted the right colors. Black with white pin
stripes.

There is a guy who had a dealer in CA make his brand new EV look like an
Eldorado. It really looks great, it has all the handling, brakes and power of
the EV and all the good looks of the loop. Of course his is black with white
pin stripes!

The loops were OK in

will never again look the same :-}}!!!!!
