I don't have a light...does setting it by ear/feel work?
Also, I am sure my timing marks are off on the pulley.
Whats an easy way to figure whaere they should be? Will
I need a degree wheel? This is probably in Guzziology

Absolutely. If you do ANYTHING to change the contact gap
or position of the
points on their backing plate, you make a direct change
in the "timing" or
rotational position of spark trigger. If you touch the
points, you have to
inspect and set the timing.
