WHAT!??! Are you nuts!!! You used American and metric in the same sentence!
Old habits die hard I guess.

It seems that nowadays that plain ol' gas line just doesn't cut it
anymore. And there is something called 'multi purpose' fuel line that
is supposed to be better than plain ol' gas line. The new formulations
of gas just eat up the old fashioned stuff.

I put plain ol' gas line (standard size) on my Eldo and found them to
cracking after just a year or two. Went and bought some German
cloth-covered metric line at a local import parts place (7 mm, I think).
About $2.50/ft but it fit so much better than the standard stuff and is
more pliable. Why doesn't any American manufacturer make metric fuel line??

Gas line on ebay,It should work. Try to scroung up a part #. The real
thing
you'll be bidding on is the junction, not the line. remember, if this is
NOS, these lines will be 30 yrs old too!

Just thought I'd throw that out there, I saw both this AM and thought I
might try my hand at match making.

Looking over my Ambo i have been watching the fuel lines show more and
more cracks, I don't know why their only 30 years old. Does anybody know
of a source for replacement lines. I rather not use plane ol gas line
since the OEM lines have such nice bends in them keep them compact.
