Hmmm.. would be interesting. I know some H-D mufflers used a tack weld to
hold the baffles in. What years, models, blah blah.... don't know. BUT I
thought some of the guys would grind that weld off and pull the
baffles/packing. Supposedly gave 'em more beef but not quite what most
wanted. I suppose they ended up buying a different exaust anyhow.
I thought of this myself but decided to get the MACS cause I got a deal.
That way I also would have a good stock pair of mufflers on hand. Has my
interest peaked again, let us know if you do try it. Then bring it to the
bar so I can hear it.

Just wondering if anybody has any insight on making the stock mufflers on
the loopframes any louder? I took mine off and it sounds bad azz. But I
want to put the mufflers on for looks. Wyda think?
