My issue of Guzziology recommends putting some gear
oil in the boot, to keep the u-joint seals moist and
to indicate boot leaks. Someone else (Godfrey) once
suggested coating the u-joint with chain lube to keep
the seals moist. Don't know which is better.
Also, someone once gave my a NAPA u-joint number that
will fit in the loopframes, but I no longer have it.
Anyone on the list know more about this?
