I think you found "Americade", I had hoped to make it over to Lake George as I heard that Moto Guzzi was going to do demo rides there (Did they make it?) and I would like to try a new EV Touring. But "Alas" I had to work. My guess is that a lot of the local Guzzis were at the "Western New York Guzzi Family Rally" at the Westfield Lake Erie KOA. Americade lasts for a full week so you just caught the end of it. I have to believe that at least a few Guzzis made an appearance, probably hard to find among all the Goldwings.

This weekend I heard there was some big motorcycle event only 3 hours away from Montreal. So my girlfriend jumped on the back of the old eldo and we cruised down to Lake George, NY. This was not ordinary event. It took nearly two minutes after our exit to be completely absorbed by a pack of a hundred motorcycles. There was so much noise and excitement that it was at least a half hour before I stopped shaking with amazement. Guys, can someone tell me what that was all about. From where I grew up I only knew of Daytona. Did I attend the eastern version? And why no guzzi's?
