Hey Richard,
Good to hear that your Ambo is back on the road. I finally got everything
back together on the White Eldo and she passed her 20 miles test ride
yesterday. The clutch did not grab at all and she ran great. I love that 5
speed tranny.
I didn't think I was going to like having a White Eldo but this bike is
growing on me. She has this old patina about her. The after market sprung
seat, nobby looking Chen Shins, flat handlebars, imperfect paint gives her a
look that is very cool. Mike I will snap a shot and send it in the near
future.
I need to straighten the rear wheel. Anyone have any ideas about rigging up
a jig so I can straighten the wheel while on the bike?
Also....John....I need decals for the tank. Can I use these without clear
coating over them? Contact me off list please.
Three Loops down.....Police Eldo to get done. That will make four Loops and
"almost" a full garage. I'm still looking for that next one sitting out in
the field though :-)
