Well folks....I am guardedly happy that I may have fixed the lurching tranny
problem. Took the White Eldo out for a brief test run and all appeared good.
After two hundred miles or so I will report back and give a progress report.
Still not sure if the loose output tranny nut was the only problem. I did
switch the pressure plate and intermediate plate. Hopefully I can get on
this bike and ride without further incident.
The biggest dilemma now is which bike to ride :-)
Thanks to all for putting up with the bandwidth...nice to have a place to
air my thoughts and to seek advice. Special thanks to Ed for being my
"trannyman" and to Mark/Josh and Rick/Gordon for taking the time out of
their busy schedules to (or try to) answer confusing questions.
