Thats just how I found mine in 1981.
Leaning on the shed with some twentythree-odd-thousand miles, minus a left
batt. cover. Windshield brackets with a busted Harley windshield attached
and a pair of Buco bags.

They must be twins!!

 man oh man-
thought i was done with this loopframe stuff. sold the ambo to my bro
[even
tho i get to wrench on her] and i am gifted with a nice V-700 for labor
[not
complaining!] sunday, cousin Tom walks in out of the cold and throws a
kodak
package on the table. i look at the unusual grin on his face, and go
outside
to pluck a few labatts out of the snow bank. seeing a grin like that on
his
 mug is disturbing.
back inside, where it is slightly above freezing, i check out the pics.
a
rusty, nasty, V-700 in a snowbank next to a shed. hmmmmmm- Tom's shed,
ergo,
Tom's snowbank. [Tom's V-700?] i look at him, and the top of his head is
gone. i wonder if he is gazing at the 'mom's lending service' sign on the
wall behind him. he pulls his head up by the hair [some old farts still
HAVE
their hair, for some reason] and he says something like "it's a '67 i got
the title second owner found it in a tractor shed in wayland
thirteen-odd-thousand miles one hundred seventy bucks." i stare, and telll
him that he got ripped of, and because we are cousins, i will give him
$200.00. sigh-no dice, huh? it's all there, minus the left batt. cover
[anyone want to sell one?] has some funky peroid [???] extra lights and
interresting windshield brackets. oldest guzzi? got a new winner, Charlie!
and sooooooo- guess this loop stuff rubs off! [altho i am gonna ride my
sport to rallies!] see ya-if spring ever gets here!!! [sigh!]
andy
armpit deep in guzzi's!
