My Jackal heads are with Mike Rich. He is going to put seals on the
intake valves only as Gary recommends. When the Jackal is back together
it will be time to do the Eldo/SP heads and put in the RAM clutch.

Tom and Indian Larry live in a neighborhood that is becoming more and
more gentrified. It's funny to see Larry getting coffee on Avenue A and
then firing up his chopper to run errands while freshly minted bohemians
and NYU Trustifarians gawk and cringe. He does drink (coffee) and drive
which is an advantage that the foot clutch gives you.

Before turning forty, getting married and finding inner peace I rode my
'72 Eldo through traffic like I was late to my own funeral. I flipped
people off, hit mirrors with my levers and was known to pound on the
tops of cars that were especially annoying. I cut through Harlem
funeral processions, threatened little old ladies in Oldsmobiles and was
known to park on the sidewalk in front of the School for the Blind (66th
btw. CPW and B'way -- do drive with care).

Never had a problem. Now I guess the chickens are coming home to roost.
