The ads don't bother me. They're outlined so I just scroll past them without
even seeing what they say.

Okay...
Let's have a "show of hands" on who else feels the same as Clifton and
Gary. Personally, I haven't been subjected to any more spam since I
joined this list than before and have no problems getting my Loop mail
because of the ads. Yes, I agree the ads are very annoying, but Topica
says "they need to do this to continue the lists for no charge". I just
ignore them and read the message. It also helps if when you reply to a
message, cut out the ads already there instead of sending them again and
again.

If y'all would rather we go somewhere else, then I'll set it up and
transfer all the list members. Suggestion of where to host the list in
addition to Clifton's suggestion are welcome. Thanks for this list (for
anyone who doesn't know) go to Dave Otis, who created it in May 2000 and
maintained it until I took over a while back.

In closing, anyone who wants to unsubscribe need only click on the
appropriate link at the bottom of Loop List email messages or send a
blank email to: Loopframe_Guzz-@topica.com . Cheers,

Charlie

SPAM and adverts:
I have been computing on forms of the internet since 1990. Until
I joined this list late last year, I never received spam. I know others
have had terrible problems but with knowledge and care I avoided this
problem for all these years.
I am now receiving spam on the account subscribed to this list. I
am still spam free on my other accounts. I believe it is because TOPICA
has sold this list. This alone is reason to unsubscribe.
As for the ads, it's a free service, so I'll throw them this
bone.
I will not unsubscribe until some generous soul has established
another board. I might recommend www.ezboard.com for a free discussion
board.
Thanks anyway to those who have maintained this list.
Thanks in advance to whoever creates the replacement.

Subject: RE: ads on top UNSUBSCRIBE
I am really tired of deleting SPAM from unwanted uninvited
advertisers
.
If it were an email or two per day it would be tolerable but the
CRAP
that is coming and sneaky ways they have make me say to H### with
TOPICA
and your ads , you are not welcome here I will deactivate my
email
addresses and start fresh.
TOPICA isn't real open about what thay really do with the email
addresses they demand as a condition of subscription .

The VALUE of the LISTS ???? I have sent people motrcycle parts
as
FREEBIES they have requested and only asked them to cover
shipping . I
have more money out with deadbeats than this list will ever be
worth.

UNSUBSCRIBE ME TOO !
