Question: what is the thought regarding those motor
oil additives that claim to rejuvenate (soften and
swell) oil seals in order to stop leaks? Pep Boys has
a half dozen different brands of the stuff. Do they
work? Do they damage the seals (cause them to get so
soft that they weaken)? The stuff is thin as water -
is it OK to run a Goose with that in the oil?
