| ok, last question....rubber o-rings: I recall that two go between the bottom of the cylinder and the gasket. These are roughly located at 12o'clock and 6'oclock (or the two shortest studs. The other 4 go between the head gasket and the head on the other 4 bolts...is this correct? |
Correct partly. The base gasket goes on first.
The two bottom o-rings at 12:00 and 6:00 go on next.
The cylinder goes on next.
The head gasket goes on next.
The head goes on next.
The four outer o-rings go on next.
The rocker arm carrier frame goes on next.
You had the last four o-rings under the head. No, they go on top of the
head.
