I am a "older"? member of this group but I feel the need to confess my sins
also.
My name is Gavin and I am a "GUtzee" holic.
I bought my first Guzzi at age 19... I am now 36 and I have bought 6 Guzzi
in my live and never sold one.
I started with an SP1000 then a 1976 Falcone then a 1962 Falcone and a 1951
Superalce... I came to the loops late with two early V7 SS carbs bike I have
bought over the past two years in the USA on ebay. I yesterday picked the
first one up from the shippers here in New Zealand!
It's still in my van outside the door:)

It is destined to become a classic racer.... SS35 carbs, V7 Sport twin
leader double sided front brake... etc... not planning an increase in engine
size ... thinking about making it a revy as possible and keep it at 700cc
for less speed and more fun on the track!

I have owned and do own a lot of other Italian bikes but I have always said
to people "I am an Italian bike enthusiest and collector.... BUT, I am a
Moto Guzzi RIDER". :)

Bikes on the wanted when I can list are... 1992 Daytona, pre war OHV 500
single, a Sport 14 500 "eoi" flat tanker and project to make a four valve
double ohc Falcone single engine!

Also yesterday I picked up two "Moto Guzzi" books of matches!!

Their is not the tinyest little bit of hope for me.... the bueatiful
Mandello Eagle has it's talons into me REEEEAL GOOD!

Big simles and kind regards from New Zealand
Gavin
