Tom,
Please include me for one of those "single carb" guzzi photos.....it was always nice grinning about my smooth running single carb 66 Triumph Tiger, which drew frustrated jeers from the two carb Bonneville bunch. I have my Eldo running very smooth with my dual carbs, but it would be interesting to see the contraption that was created to make one into a single carb model.

He goes into a shed and comes out with a carb and a manifold. I say, What's that for?" He says,"It came off an Ambo I bought a few years ago. It worked really well. It was very fast". What it is, is a VW 36mm Solex carb mounted to a custom tube that spans across and mounts to the Guzzi cylinders. It is a single carb set-up! The air filter design is VERY Rube Goldberg, as it goes down behind the unit and sets infront of the battery, but hey, it's neat! Well, I just had to buy it!! I don't know if I'll use it, but I may mount it onto a spare engine, just to freak people out! If I can get a pic, I'll send it to anyone who wants to see it. I'll let you know when I get it done.
