<DIV></DIV>Hi Ted,
<DIV></DIV>You're probably thinking about Agostini's in Italy. With the current
<DIV></DIV>exchange rate there is little to no savings over buying them from MG
<DIV></DIV>Cycle.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>In Guzziology Dave Richardson brings up a few things to consider about
<DIV></DIV>Nikasil vs. sleeves. If your pistons aren't in excellent condition (no
<DIV></DIV>scoring/scuffing, no wear on the skirts, ring grooves still correct
<DIV></DIV>dimemsions, etc.) then you're better off using the kits. By time you
<DIV></DIV>factor in the cost of new pistons, rings, pins, circlips, sleeves
<DIV></DIV>(including installation) the kits are a bargain. There is a good reason
<DIV></DIV>why Guzzi (and Morini, BMW, etc.) switched from sleeves to
<DIV></DIV>Nikasil/Nigusil bores and it wasn't cost. Better ring seal = better
<DIV></DIV>emissions, power and longevity. Cheers,
<DIV></DIV>
