I believe just the first V7 Sport models had a smooth cast 5 speed
transmission case. Here are a few photos of them from Ebay

Hiya people,
Can anyone confirm or deniy that a 5 speed box was fitted to some Guzzi
without the external ribbing of the later models??
i.e. it's a 5 speed box, that from the outside looks like a 4 speed (in the
lack of ribbing anyway)....
I have seen only one pic of one in a V7 Sport.... and another pic of a V7
Sport with the later ribbed type.
If such an animal exsits then I want to buy one!!
