Keith says:

perhaps I'll cut you a break if you help me set the
carbs and adjust the
brakes :)

Have you ever read Tom Sawyer?

Cam is now an expert on mechanical brakes. I will loan you my brake
spring remover for as long as you need it.

Guzzi carbs are easy:

(1) Soak in carb cleaner until your kids are accepted into college.

(2) Remove main jet and pilot jet and examine them with a jewelers
loupe to look for microscopic obstructions.

(3) Spend hours cleaning jets with a brass guitar string (high "E").

(4) Discard old jets and buy new from MG Cycle for a pittance. Get two
gasket kits while you are at it.

(5) Replace all paper and rubber gaskets within the carb using the
diagram from the Premier manual.

(6) Notice that the air slide in the drawing is backwards in the
Premier manual. Begin questioning the accuracy of all drawings in all
Guzzi manuals.

(7) Now that carbs are completely rebuilt put them on the shelf above
your workplace while you wait for:

The powder coater

The Nicasil set

The chrome guy

The cheap paint guy

The Ebay guy you paid with paypal on the day of the auction but is now
on a "business trip"

More money
