perhaps, i just found another head descrepency - some ambo heads have 1
valve spring, and some have 2. i attempted to put 2 springs on a one
spring head today. everything fit, but when you turn the engine over,
the innerspring reaches full compression early, and it binds (if you put
the valves at .15 and .25) if you go looser, even just .05, it'll work,
but i bet there's a hell of a lot of valve noise. i actually have 3
different ambo heads - i thought there was only 2 different kinds (and i
thought the only difference was valve size, but that is not the case...)

Greg, your request is topical- I've been wondering about something
lately-
Can't one interchange later (Tonti) model rocker arms (complete) with
the ones from a loop frame? The spindles are the same and I can't see
any difference in the rocker other than the adjuster nut and bolt, and
even that looks like it would fit into the pushrod cup of a loop.
???

intake..)
