Greg,
I put a set of Moto Int. progressive front fork springs in my Eldo
and it was a big difference between the OE set. The front end did not
bottom out as much and was much smoother. These springs needed about 1.5"
of preload (from a 1.5" diameter PVC pipe) added. The OE springs also had
preload PVC pipe as well.
The 50 wt. motor oil I use for fork oil helps with dampening
oscillations.

MG Cycle has the Wirth replacement progressively wound front fork
springs listed on their website for $139.50. Has anybody here used them?
Are they significantly better than simply adding preload and heavier
fork oil to the stock fork springs?
