got up to go @ dark-thirty; looked at the fog and the temp and decided
to work on the Mach instead. Dunno 'bout you guys, but after a long-ish
(over 40 mile) ride in the cold, my body core temp drops and it takes a
while to get it back.
Anyway, I worked on Max the Mach in the AM and then gave all the
mechanical stuff a good bath in the warm weather. Took Lucy the Dnepr
out for a spin; a cop had a kid pulled over and gave me a big thumbs-up
as I motored by with the straight pipes blattin'.
You gotta love middle age - back when I was a kid he woulda lit out
after me for having loud pipes. Now that there's a bit of snow on the
roof, I'm no longer a rebel - I'm just a little eccentric.
Go figure.
