Subject: Changing brake pads....

I successfully made up and installed new stainless braided brake hoses,
bled the brake, and am now changing brake pads on a disk brake Eldo.

What's the clever trick that everyone but me has figured out to
reinstall the pads? The mounting pins knocked out easily enough, and
the pads fell out followed by the little anti-rattle spring clip and
pin.

Since the inside of the caliper is not accessible from above, how do the
anti-rattle clip and pin go back in? I've been sitting cross-legged on
the floor for an hour trying to figure it out. You CAN'T balance the
clip and pin on top of the pads while you slide them back up in there.
And it looks like you have to slide one mounting pin through the spring,
which you can't get to when the pads are in place.

What am I missing?
