paul,
put a dab of paint, grease, etc. on tire, set on bike so tire is loaded roll forward til the paint makes two marks on the floor, measure distance between. Usually gets really accurate measurement.

Dave,

When you calibrated the unit for your wheel, what info did you enter. Mine
(Schwinn model) asks for the wheel diameter which you have to convert to
millimeters and then multiply by 3.1416 to get the actual number that's set
into the unit. Now do you include the tire in this or not?

Paul
