Has anyone ever just used the black silicone gasket maker sealant, with
no fiber gasket material? I Did this on the front timing cover with no
leaks in 12 months. First time around I made my own valve cover gaskets,
I have the hole punches and it worked great, took a little time, but I
think it was raining anyway.
