Interesting Joe, let us know how it works for you. Pictures of
installation a definite plus.

Hey Fellers,
You might recall me talking about a head shakin' problem
that I noticed with Ol' Junkyard that was exasperated by the recently
installed Barn Door (windshield). Been looking at Ebay for a decent deal

on a hydraulic steering damper - no such luck to date. I had no idea
what a premium these doo dads demand!

Last Sunday I was on a ride with my Norton Buds, and two
of them had recently installed nice adjustable hydraulic steering
dampers. They had sourced them from a place in Florida called Mikes XS
[www(.)mikesxs(.)net], a place that caters to those who own Yamaha XS
650s from the 70s/80s. My pals really like their units & the price was
right ($48 delivered!). I'll have to make a frame bracket but that
should pose no problem. I ordered one yesterday & received an invoice
stating it will ship today - painless!

I have no financial interest in this place nor do I own a
Yamaha, but it seemed like a super deal to me & wanted to pass it on to
my Looper Buds.
