their is a connection, the linkage is entirely different, if your talkingout, the brake and shift pedals mount directly to the floorboard rail, the
about stock guzzi Floorboards, the linkage has to be completely changed
linkage from the shifter pedal connects to a shaft on the floorboard rail
and then to the transmission, that is where the change in direction comes in
the shifting pattern, I will post some close up details on my website if
there is interest.
brake pedal mounts to a shaft located behind the frame and is not attached
to the floorboard rails in any way. The shifter shaft does pass through the
floorboard rail. I have attached a pic but I don't know if it is clear
enough to see where the shaft goes. Perhaps it is clear enough to see if
this is a stock set up or the previous owner added non standard floorboards.
