Dave may be thinking that the engine is tightening up from too close of a
piston/cyl fit....

I have a problem with my 69 Ambassador that someone may be able to help
fewon. It has recently been overhauled and runs beautifully. I have put a
riddenhundred miles on it since then. It would be safe to say that I havent
ridingit for more than 20 minutes at one time with no problems. I was out
inthe other day for maybe twice that long, ran great, came home and it died
makethe driveway and would not restart. I let it sit a couple minutes and it
popped right off. It would then run real nice, and then die after a few
seconds and once again, would not restart. I flipped the gascap up to
sure that wasnt the problem. Does this sound like a bad coil? Does anyone--
have a spare they would sell??
Thanks,
Scott
