Would think that there are enough of the originals still left to fill the
need.....besides, I'm not sure I want to start seeing Loopframe clones...:-)

I'll agree with that, the black is cool, but everyone has it, the white is

One thing I would like to submit for discussion.......What do you all
whatthe market would be for a retro Eldo? Do you think that we could get the
tooling set up to produce the frames and assemble the machines cost
effectively? How much would it cost to produce (say) 100 machines and
theprice would be the ceiling for a retro bike? What about engines? Would
befactory let us get our claws into some engines or would we have to go out
into the parts pool?
I think it would be cool, but how would we get past the EPA, braking
requirements, new electrical requirements, (ie; safety and kill switches)
all of these would require re-engineering, especially EPA. One way would
to make the parts only and the end user could assemble?the
We could build them here in Canada and ship them to the states......with
:-)exchange rates the bike would retail for about $3,000 after all was done

Sounds very cool to me!!!!
I know that many think we sould preserve the loopframes as original, but
just think........if they caught on as customs there would be
spin-offs........clones made by other companys........I can see it now -"Big Linguini Motor Co.".................
