Kerry,

Welcome to the board. I too had these questions and got some info from
Moe @ cyclegarden.com and also from a book. These bikes never came with
mirrors or directionals. Dealerships installed them, so you will find
all sorts of directionals and mirrors used. I found that many parts
used on Harleys were installed on these machines, i.e., the windscreen
is a National Cycle brand (mine had a Harley label on it), and my rear
directionals were also Harley. I just ordered and received a pair of
chrome high stem clip on mirrors from Harley also. They found all of the
items I have needed in their V-Twin book, so stop by your local Harley
dealer if you need these items, or call Moe at Cycle Garden, he has a
few sets of NOS rear directionals, non-Harley type. Everybody I talked
to about the mirrors said to go to a local m/c shop and get them, so I
went to Harley and got my set, they were the same as used on a 65
Harley. Lots of other shops can help out too, i.e., Mark @ MG Classics,
MG Cycles, Moto Int'l, and Harpers are folks I have dealt with.

Good Luck and welcome aboard!
