replace it immediately. A brand new Chicken Skin (Cheng Shen) is far better
than that hardened old thing. It's prpobably harder than a roller skate
whell and has about as much traction as a scalded cat on linoleum.
Thanks for the replies. My front tire is not worn, but is about 12 years old. It isn't dry rotted or cracked or anything, but I'm planning to replace it soon anyway. The rear is a Dunlop 491 E2, so I'll probably get another like it for the front. Chris in NC '74 Eldo civ. |
